Richard James Man Autumn-Winter 2016-17 – For AW16, the iconic Savile Row house, drew inspiration from the London Docklands of the 1930’s. The era’s aesthetic highly present through each silhouette, mainly due to the return of the wide legged suit trousers and double-breasted jackets in subtle greys, creams, navys, worn open, hand in one pocket, before a luring into thoughtful greens and indigos. The latter, enhanced by the rich velvet it came in. The casual looks were highly wearable, featuring sturdy denim, chunky roll necks and lapelled coats and the occasional bright knitted jumper.

The mastery, undoubtedly remained in the suiting, which heightened the desirability to acquire the fresher takes on the eternal classic that is the prince of wales check, more than ever.
