Salvatore Ferragamo

Salvatore Ferragamo Woman Spring Summer 2017 – Salvatore Ferragamo was the perfect summer concoction. It’s sporty but feminine shapes, pretty prints and pops of colour made it ideal for the warmer months ahead.

Perforated leather came in a variety of colours and styles. Bright pink tailoring was cinched with wide belts and hole punched shirts and dresses were paired together. The holed texture added an interesting dimension of pattern to the collection, making the leather feel lighter and more summer appropriate.

Silhouettes were structured and architectural. Upper sleeves ballooned outwards whilst the rest of the form clung to the curves of the body. Pencil skirts featured heavily but were given a flirty twist with flaring hems.

The palette was made primarily of wearable neutrals. However when colour was used, it was bright, punchy and memorable. Sour lemon yellow dresses and royal blues enrobed the models from head to toe. Makeup mirrored the collection’s simple but vivid vibe. The face was kept natural with the exception of a streak of colour above the eyelid.
