Michael Kors
Spring-Summer 2015 – Michael Kors describes his collection as “optimistic chic” and exudes summer romance through a rather expansive collection of clothes which range from flouncy florals, light knits, chic co-ords, midi-skirts, full length coats and all while playing to “Be My Baby”, just to cement the light hearted joie de vivre that only Michael Kors could produce.
More muted linens and black and white pieces were interspersed with bright and engaging floral prints of sunshine yellow and navy. Sailor style navy and white Breton tops were paired with neat cropped trousers and midi skirts, while textural skirts had embroidered flowers over translucent netting and layered over fitted tops. When describing the collection Kors said that “Women today want it all and they deserve it all” and through this collection which juxtaposes a romantic feminism with a definite sense of assertiveness he definitely manages to make that phrase tangible in his clothing.
