Miu Miu

Spring-Summer 2013 – Miu Miu is renowned for its vibrant, youthful and playful styles yet this year Miuccia took on a new and more mature approach in that it was a collection embodying sensibility. The slightly oversized silhouette consisted of mid-calf skirts worn with loose jackets. They were tailored in boxy shapes and made from denim. Bra-like tops were worn under the longer overcoats and pointy shoes. The accessories were sparse too, pertaining to the polished look: there were clothes that rouched at the waist, jackets tied with a single brooch and furs slung over the shoulder with enlarged tie-dyed patterns. The silhouette, though beginning in darker hues, brightened up with white, red and pink. There was a mix glossy skirts with fur jackets along with slender and simple skirts with voluminous coats. The air of sophisticated created by all the clothes brought an older approach to Miu Miu whilst maintain the unique style that is representative of the brand.
