Carolina Herrera

Autumn – Winter 2013/14

Karlie Kloss fiercely opened the Herrera show in a beige and white squared floor length gown followed by a gradual variation in colour palette. A mix of jewel tones amongst bright blues and whites made way for an exciting lineup. Explosive flowers and bursts of colour were used on a number of pieces such as her emerald blouse to the deep blue, velvet evening dress. A stunning lace covered dress in a deep shade of purple, encrusted in embellishment was also a key item from the mauve coloured selection.

Woolen trouser suits were finished off with detailed bow neck shirts and skirt lengths varied from floor to the knee. Dress silhouettes were sleek and flattering, pinched in at the waist as well as breathtaking v-necks and keyhole chest openings. Carolina Herrera once again produced an impeccable exhibition of formal evening wear with a few surprises and extras along the way.
