Balenciaga

Autumn-Winter 2013/14

Balenciaga was one of the most highly anticipated shows of this fashion season as Alexander Wang stepped up to the helm. As the audience waited with baited breath to see what the designer would do with the prestigious fashion house Alexander delivered a collection of elegant, high octane glamour that stayed true to Balenciaga’s traditional aesthetic.

Alexander’s designs were highly wearable, with sharply tailored trousers, glamorous dresses and sleek shirts. The collection was delivered in an entirely monochrome colour palette, due to some touches of print work, a crackle motif and an array of textures each look still felt fresh despite the two-colour selection.
