Spring-Summer 2014 – The theme of the Dsquared2 collection this season was strikingly obvious. It was all about jungles and safari and exploring. There were button up shirts tucked into belted combat shorts, vests, rucksacks, anoraks and canvas hats. There was also a large amount of green leather which was often paired with zebra prints of other patterns of leaves and animals. Things then started to get a bit beachwear with swimming shorts and Hawaiian leis, and there was even a grass hula skirt teamed with a tuxedo jacket. There was a definite spring/summer aspect from the sheer amount of denim and white and beaded necklaces. The collection was then finished with a couple of pieces that looked as thought they had come directly out of ‘The Great Gatsby.’ Dinner suits in gold and black finished off with a bow tie made a spectacular end to this collection.
