Alexander McQueen

Spring-Summer 2012 – Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen’s spring summer menswear collection is flirty and fun. It features Aztec stripes and bold colours as well as black and white with an almost circus like feel to some of the pieces. The pussy bow blouses, long trenches and high waisted trousers gives it a feminine edge and it gives a nod to the 60s trend with its pressed velvet suits in red and yellow.  The theme of “English rock” took us back to the era of the Beetles and the Stones.
