Autumn-Winter 2011/12 – Valentino showed a man’s wardrobe. If you were to start from scratch and needed everything new, then this could happily be your one stop shop. The trousers were all the same cut, baggier around the top with a low crotch and tapered in chinos, suit trousers, navy ones, dark jeans. There were cardigans, suits and jumpers. The emphasis was on outerwear as coats were for every occasion, leather jackets with oversized arms, bomber jackets, quilted jackets and trenches. There was a denim and shearling jacket, a checked trench, a military coat and a duffel. It is an easy to wear collection for the lazy man.
