Sao Paulo fashion week: highlights from day 4

Movimento

Slick 1980s-style swimwear with horticultural prints and a ‘MOV’ logo were worn under sporty mesh dresses or on their own for hip bone-flashing body-con looks. Metallic accessories including bangles and chunky amulets added extra glamour.

Lolitta

Designer Lolita Zurita Hannud (just the one ‘t’ in her name) unveiled a series of slick tiered dresses featuring horizontal stripes which mixed Mediterranean and gypsy vibes. Cleverly woven satin stripes and animal prints also appeared.

Lino Villaventura

Barefoot models trod the runway with their toes sticking out the end of their socks. Villaventura served up board shorts and open shirts for the boys, while the girls appeared in flowing silk dresses featuring softly clashing prints, color washes and embroidered detailing.

Forum

Victoria’s Secret star Candice Swanepoel opened and closed the show at Forum. The label showed colorful illustrated tropical prints, nautical rope belts (a repeated trend here in Sao Paulo), oversized tops and dresses with chunky shoulders and a series of pieces made from armor-like reflective scales.
