The Belgian-born aristocrat and fashion icon was excited about the collaboration:

“I really loved the challenge of translating my designs into the first DVF for Gap collection. It was so much fun to see little girls wearing the pieces and I’m looking forward to collaborating with Gap on this second collection.”

The collection goes on sale in select GapKids, babyGap and DVF stores around the world as well as online at Gap.com.

Von Furstenberg founded her namesake label in 1972 and quickly rose to fashion fame with her celebrated wrap dresses. Headquartered in New York City, the DVF brand has 85 shops worldwide. The designer is also head of the prestigious Council of Fashion Designers of America.

Gap was founded in 1969 in San Francisco and has grown into one of the world’s most successful fashion labels. The brand has previously collaborated with designers including Stella McCartney and Valentino.
