Rag & Bone DIY project enlists models Jessica Hart and Anais Mali

The New York City-based fashion brand’s DIY project sees the label hand over a camera and a bag of clothes to some of the world’s biggest models and let them go wild with their own creative ideas.

Previous editions of the project have featured fashion megastars Miranda Kerr, Lily Aldridge, Karolina Kurkova, Candice Swanepoel, and Carolyn Murphy, all messing around off-duty in their Rag & Bone gear.

Franco-Polish model Anais Mali took her photos in two different locations: “I shot my campaign in St Barth’s where I was for New Year’s Eve, then in Miami, when I was visiting my boyfriend.”

Australian model and former Sports Illustrated star Jessica Hart shot her photos in LA with her sister at the Roosevelt Hotel: “We wanted to be a bit spontaneous,” explained the 27-year-old.

Founded by Marcus Wainwright in New York City back in 2002 (who was followed over by fellow Brit and school friend David Neville shortly after), Rag & Bone has become a critical and commercial success, with the label’s denim worn by a host of celebrity fans.

Last week the brand announced that it will be bringing its Spring 2014 menswear show back to the UK as part of the London Collections: Men event this June, alongside Burberry and Pringle of Scotland.
