Credits & copyrights: Courtesy of UnconditionalUNCONDITIONAL was originally launched as a small capsule collection for luxury menswear boutique the Concrete Shop. Based in Soho, London designer Phillip Stephens added a small women’s line to the collection two years later.

The small collections simple, edgy attitude had strong success and resulted in the label showing at London Fashion Week for six seasons. This has followed by two seasons in New York and three seasons in Shanghai and Amsterdam.

In 2008 the first UNCONDITIONAL flagship store was opened in Convent Garden, London. Two years later the spring/summer 11 collection was brought back to London. A second flagship store opened in 2011 in central Manchester, Stevens’s birthplace.

The label collaborated with Una Burke for their spring/summer 12 collection. Stephens created structured, strong leather accessories that added to the designs strong visual impact.

Brad Pitt, Jude Law, Jared Leto, Kanye West, Pixie Lott, Madonna, Patti Smith and David Bowie have all worn the successful collections highlighting UNCONDITIONAL’s wide appeal. Homeware was also added to the portfolio.

Stocked worldwide, UNCONDITIONAL is known for its edgy London style that has an ease of laidback America. Luxurious basics are offered with androgynous pieces that have a rock ‘n’ roll vibe. Signature draping give the modern, simple designs a sexy edge.
