Marchesa

Spring-Summer 2015 – Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig’s Ready-to-Wear line, Marchesa is the epitome of elegance and femininity with the combination of exquisite detailing and the range of textiles found amongst the collection. This collection seemed to revolve around a sophisticated bohemian theme, with flowing fabrics, off-the-shoulder bodices, and the presence of floral prints. The Marchesa collection emphasises the female silhouette, despite the presence of numerous ruffles and the loose-fitting style of the collection, but using light fabrics, cinching the waist, and the presence of V-neck and off-the-shoulder bodices.

Hair was styled loose, with a hint of volume, occasionally accessorised with floral headbands, and make-up was natural with subtle eye shadow and blusher, in order to emphasise the bohemian theme. The models wore platform sandals and pumps in a variety of colours, including white, burnt orange, black, baby blue and violet.
