Christian Dior
Spring-Summer 2015 – The S/S15 by Dior is tightly grounded into the Fashion History, that was the obsession of monsieur Dior in his whole career. Historical references constitute the essence of the brand during the decades, and that is the reason why Dior has always been synonymous of quality and femininity.
The collection recalls the Marie Antoinette style through a modern and fresh translation of silhouettes and items of clothing: thin waistlines, extremely wide skirts, detailed cloaks and coats. Such inspirations are combined with tailored fin de siècle details like huge buttons, pockets and double-breasted pieces.
The colour palette is largely based on white, black and beige enriched by colourful elements of different brighter tones.
