John Richmond

Autumn-Winter 2014/15 – The ever-loved colour of black is the main focus of John Richmond’s line.

There isn’t a neither more classy, nor more seductive colour than black; not only can it be dressed up and dressed down and dressed anyway you want; it holds a power when you wear it also.

There are added touches of casual and sports wear made into smart wear by formalizing them into two-piece combinations. Images used are iconic, photography ones with 1960’s CD cover element.

Shapes within shapes in the detailing of the outfits brings the collection out of its shell, the structure is brought together as a whole when particular patterns are repeated.

Masculine tailored jackets are layered over body-con dresses oozes sophistication, particularly when added to ankle boots. Ankle boots are less formal but can add a small amount of height. When you have the structure of feminine and masculine together in one outfit, not much more detail need adding.
