Following on from the hot trend of candy colours taking place this spring, Jil Sander has created a line with this idea in mind and made it warmer.

The basic colours of the pastel pinks, greens, grey, blues and yellows are adapted by material. With the cuts not quite fitting and not being oversized, this gives it a new edge.

The collection is extremely cool, calm and delicate in being minimal effort and yet still creating an impact. There is no question on femininity at all; the collection of dresses, with detailing around the neckline adds structure to a plain, basic idea.

In this case, less is definitely more!

There is something about this line that even though there is nothing as stand-offish as other collections, the idea of simple is accomplished due to the structure and the fall of the material. Elegance stems from simplicity.
