Spring-Summer 2014 – Valentino’s collection this season was everything we would expect from Valentino. It was all beautifully cut, and beautifully finished. Although it consisted of mainly suits and smart trousers, it was made a little quirky but the pairing up of these with flip flops. Or having the some of the pieces patched together from different shades of fabric. Some of the jackets appeared to have no fastenings at the from and were instead held together seamlessly in some other way. The addition of khaki jackets, leather and t-shirts kept this collection wearable for every day and added a splash of colour to an otherwise navy colour scheme. There were some man-bags, some camouflage and some floral prints to make this collection anything but ordinary.
