Balmain

Autumn-Winter 2012/13 – The dandy is definitely an emerging man of AW2012 and Olivier Rousteing does well to transform the signature Balmain biker into a fine military beau. He kept the silhouette of the Balmain man the same, slim on the bottom and oversized jackets, but the refined, fitted military jacket with straight collars and gold button embellishments brought a much more cultured look to the collection. The slim trousers were more of a nod to Rudlof Nureyev the Russian dancer than the DNA of the Balmain look, but staying true to the roots of the collection was something he doesn’t want to move away from. A slightly modified look of sensuality was created in this latest autumn/winter man´s collection.
