Lanvin

Lanvin Man Spring-Summer 2017 – The stunning Lanvin show in Paris appeared to be a collection that embraced the conflicting and contrasting through its various interesting designs and prints. In terms of shape and cut, jackets were fluid and romantic, teamed with relaxed fitting slacks and sporty, crisp white trainers. The romantic theme was also touched upon not only with the fit of the jackets, but through the more subtle, finer details that formed part of many looks: metal cupid’s arrow belts, rose pins, and cotton star patches. There was a reoccurring muted rainbow print that added a subtle pop of colour when implemented on t-shirts underneath coats or jackets which so often took on a darker, more muted colour palate themselves.  The label’s creative director Lucas Ossendrijver has unarguably, once again, created a collection based on Lanvin’s signature style; that the Lanvin brand is grounded by the core value of craftsmanship.
