Hermes

Hermes Man Spring-Summer 2017 – The Hermes Man Spring-Summer 2017 show was revealed in Paris, and proved to be one of the most wearable designer collections of the season. Clever tailoring played a key role in the assemblage, with neatly straight tailored lines allowing for a sense of sophistication and intricacy. Despite a definite sense of classicism, the house was unafraid to incorporate more exciting and stimulating colours throughout the show. Bright colours were indeed the order of the day, with everything from yellows, purples and greens making a statement on the catwalk. A classic, tailored beige trench was instantly updated thanks to it being teamed with a lemon yellow shirt underneath. Other garments included everything from bomber jackets, to Breton stripes, all of which were not without a pop of colour or a splash of geometric print.  The Hermes show was, undoubtedly, about mixing the modern with the classic and updating an already established look through subtle, but brilliant, tweaks.
