Chloé Women Spring Summer 2016

For Chloé, SS16 is all about the return of sports luxe and continuation of boho chic. Clare Waight Keller’s vision includes full retro tracksuits in oxblood red that are reminiscent of country club attire in the 80s, and a series of billowing blouses, jumpsuits, and dresses in paisley and delicate floral print.

Denim was also given lashings of attention, with many ensembles being fashioned out of the material – special attention to the 70s style Bardot shouldered dress casually fitted at the hips and cascading down to the floor in a tiered maxi length.

Crochet and lace were used to make beautifully delicate and feminine dresses in stark white and seductive black, while a gorgeous Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat rainbow striped dress flowed to the floor in fluttering chiffon, supported only by thin spaghetti straps tied at the shoulder.

Keller used the same rainbow colours and thin spaghetti straps in the creation of her flat sandals, and there were tassles galore featuring on the bracelets, dresses, and bags. Love.
