Sleekly cozy at Sonia Rykiel Pre-Fall 2015

Posted on

Julie de Libran picked up where she left off in October, but turned things cozy for fall and winter. Loads of skirts were worn with retro herringbone tights (a key theme) and denim, tweed and plaid separates were the order of the day.

Fur was another highlight, appearing as coats, muffs and even clipped onto belts as a fun accessory, attached to the eyelet details which also appeared on bags and clothes.

The silhouette also contained loads of high-waisted, wide-leg jeans and pants, as well as cropped trousers with a turn-up. Leopard-print accessories and coats, beanie hats and quilted outerwear added to the wintry vibe.

In keeping with that, the color palette mostly stuck to tobacco, burgundy reds, and blues, with a little extra color coming from winter floral prints and a multicolor star motif on a silk jumpsuits (they also arrived in solid tones too for eveningwear). Shoes were focused on 1970s-style heels, flat biker boots, and chic black loafers with gold chains.
