Richard Nicoll joins Jack Wills
Richard Nicoll is something of an emerging favorite on the London fashion scene, and his men’s and womenswear designs have been spotted on celebrities including Sienna Miller, Florence Welch, Keira Knightley and Harry Styles. Now he’s been hired by high street clothing brand Jack Wills to expand the label’s global appeal.
“His aesthetic and talent in designing for both men and women will be a great match for our future vision for Jack Wills and reinforce our commitment to having quality and design at our heart,” explained Wendy Becker, CEO of Jack Wills.
His first pieces for Jack Wills will appear as part of the Spring 2015 collection. “I’m excited to be working with Jack Wills, this is an opportunity to take a successful British design aesthetic and drive forward the product and vision,” added Nicoll.
From 2009 to 2011, Nicoll was also womenswear designer at Cerruti. He is a two-time BFC Vogue Fashion Fund finalist and has previously worked on a capsule collection for Fred Perry and a bridal collaboration with Topshop.
