Meadham Kirchhoff team up with Topshop for new range

Fans of Edward Meadham and Benjamin Kirchhoff’s off-the-wall designs will again be able to get their hands on their subversively traditional aesthetic (think Victorian frills and 21st century thrills) at Topshop.

This is the second time Meadham Kirchhoff have worked with the fashion-forward British high street label, and the designers’ first collection for Topshop helped launch their name into the fashion mainstream.

Titled ‘The Cherrys’, the new 80-piece collection was inspired by an imaginary girl band conjured up by Meadham and Kirchhoff, and the pair have created a whole wardrobe for their characters.

The two designers first met while studying at the famed Central Saint Martins school in London (alma mater to Lee McQueen, Céline’s Phoebe Philo and Riccardo Tisci of Givenchy among many others).

Topshop’s recent design collaborations include link-ups with J.W. Anderson and a recent capsule collection put together by actress Kate Bosworth and photographed by her husband Michael Polish.

The collection is set to launch on November 21.
