Kiton goes to Naples for video lookbook

Kiton didn’t opt for a runway show or a lookbook to debut their latest looks — instead the Neapolitan luxury label decided to create a film, “A Neopolitan Dream,” inspired by the stuff of fairytales to unveil their new womenswear line.

Shot in and around the Museo di Capodimonte in Naples, the video also features a star turn from American Formula 1 driver Alexander Rossi, who test-drove for the Caterham F1 Team.

According to Kiton women’s creative director Giovanna Paone the film expresses “great emotion – something that was missing in Kiton. Pictures and catalogues are very cold,” she told WWD

Directed by Joseph Deacetis, the two-minute long film manages to pack in plenty of the brand’s latest collection, with 12 costume changes, alongside lavish aerial shots of speedboats and the Capri coast, as well as interior shots of the museum’s collections.
