The face of L’Oréal Paris and a global ambassador for shoe designer Roger Vivier, the blue-blooded model, designer, and perfumer Inès de la Fressange is set to reveal a collaboration with Uniqlo on a new ready-to-wear line.

Known as one of the current faces of French chic, Fressange has even penned a best-selling style guide titled “La Parisienne.” Expected to go on sale in early 2014, the clothes are the result of an ongoing conversation between the former Chanel muse, and Uniqlo:

“We talked regularly with Ines and exchanged views on a number of subjects including fabrics, design, and fitting,” Uniqlo’s design director Naoki Takizawa told the Telegraph. “Ines’ own lifestyle and approach to fashion closely mirror Uniqlo’s LifeWear, and I am very pleased to be launching the new line that we have created together,” he added.

Uniqlo has recently worked with British designers Celia Birtwell and Lulu Guinness, as well as NYC-based luxury label Suno. The Japanese brand also had a successful multi-season capsule collection with German minimalist Jil Sander titled +J which ran from 2009 to 2011.
