In the mood of Rynshu: ‘I was born a fashion designer’

Posted on

Relaxnews: Is there a famous person, historical or contemporary, who could represent this new collection?

Rynshu: I don’t have a particular icon in mind. There are however a few famous people that often wear my creations and I must admit that some pieces might have been designed for them.

Relaxnews: If you had to sum up your collection in just one key piece, which would you choose? Can you describe it? How would you accessorize the collection?

Rynshu: There are two looks, quite casual, that have been designed to be worn on a fun and luxurious holiday. What is special about the jacket and the blouson is that they don’t have a collar. As for the trousers, they are made of 98 concealed zippers. These are designs that are meant to be worn casually, with a pair of sunglasses or even some boots.

Relaxnews: What was the source of inspiration for this collection?

Rynshu: I was inspired by the holidays I spent in the Maldives, in the Indian Ocean.

Relaxnews: Can you name a movie or some music that could be associated with this collection?

Rynshu: “Weekend Lover,” “Diane” and “Control Me”. These are rock songs with a festive feel.

Relaxnews: What idea or which person best defines contemporary elegance?

Rynshu: My friend Aaron Walton. He is the co-founder of Walton Isaacson, a major American advertising agency. He also models in his downtime. He has made it his goal to make his life extraordinary, and his views on fashion are very interesting. For him, fashion isn’t just the clothes we wear, but what our clothes say about us, the stories they tell.

Relaxnews: What made you decide to become a fashion designer?

Rynshu: I’ve always wanted to, since a very young age. I can say I was born a fashion designer… My dream was always to design clothes.
