Fashion films of the week: Chanel, McQ, Valentino

Geraldine Chaplin stars as Gabrielle ‘Coco’ Chanel in this 25-minute film by the brand’s creative director Karl Lagerfeld, which was premiered at the brand’s Métiers d’Art show this week in Dallas. Rupert Everett and French actress Anna Mouglalis (who has also starred as Coco herself) also make appearances.

McQ Alexander McQueen
This new video from the fashion-forward London label features Australian model April Tiplady showing off the McQ Alexander McQueen Spring/Summer 2014 womenswear collection. Featuring pounding electronic beats, overlay and mirror video effects, it’s a fun contrast to all those Chanel pearls.

Titled “Glimmering Holidays,” this super-short film from Italian luxury brand Valentino shows off the label’s ultra glamorous accessories collections, including studded pumps, crystal-embellished clutch bags, chunky precious metal bracelets, and glittering jeweled necklaces. If you’re still looking for a decadent little something to add to your Christmas wish list, this could help you out.
