DKNY releases special Ramadan fashion collection

DKNY‘s new Ramadan collection for summer 2014, DKNY Ramadan, arrives at the same time as the recent launch of the DKNY Middle East website. 

Inspired by celebrations of the Muslim holy month, the collection’s bold colors and prints are designed to mirror the daily fasting period (between sunrise and sunset) with deep blue hues and vibrant oranges, alongside simpler monochrome pieces. Styles include maxi dresses, long skirts, jumpsuits, and light and airy shirts. 

The lookbook images for the collection were shot by Emirati photographer Saeed Al Khalifa, and feature two of the Middle East’s biggest bloggers, Yalda Golsharifi from Kuwait and Tamara Al Gabbani from Dubai.
