American Vogue announced its First Conference, “Forces of Fashion,” on 12th October at Milky Studios in New York City. Discussion topics in the speaking session will include “the power of independence” by Dries Van Noten, along with the editor-at-Hamish Bowles; “Fashion in the Age of Instagram” by Marc Jacobs and Instagram Founder Kevin Systrom, along with the digital creative director Sally Singer; “On Keeping Cool” by Virgil Abloh and Heron Preston along with vogue.com fashion news director Chioma Nnadi; and “Success the Second Time Around”  by Maison Margiela and John Galliano, along with the contributing editor Andre Leon.

Other designers such as Vetements and Balenciaga, Demna Gvasalia, Erdem Moralioglu, Marni’s Francesco Risso, Joseph Altuzarra, Michael Kors, Chloe’s Natacha Ramsay-Levi, Stella McCartney, and Victoria Beckham have speaking sessions scheduled for 30-45 minutes which will help to organize the conference in the targeted time period.

The venue assigned for the conference seems to be “intimate”. The magazine refused to disclose the number of tickets available. Vogue will also announce discounted tickets exclusively for students.

In May 2016, the last edition of consumer-facing Vogue fashion festival by Editor-in-chief Alexandra of British Vogue was held for two days in London. Experienced speakers like Kim Kardashian West, and Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana were talking about educational programming. Vogue Paris held their first conference last autumn, where the desired audience was industry members as well as consumers. A second annual Vogue code was hosted by Vogue Australia in Sydney featuring custom shoe start-up. Now the Launch of Vogue conferences are spreading rapidly across the globe.
