Chanel Partners With Net-A-Porter for Online Launch

Chanel has selected Net-A-Porter as the retail source to launch its brand new and first ever fine jewellery collection, entitled Coco Crush. The collection is compromised of five rings and one cuff created from 18-karat white and yellow gold, and has been crafted by the brand’s in-house fine jewellery design team.

This marks the first time that Chanel has been purchasable from the website along with the first time that any products other than make-up has been sold through e-commerce. Chanel recently discussed its plans to alter its global pricing structure for the better in order to create a smoother transition into the eventual online retailing.

Alison Loenhis, president of Net-A-Porter, said “We are thrilled that Chanel has decided to work with Net-A-Porter on this exclusive initiative”, and that “this fabulous collection completely embodies the unequivocal chic Chanel spirit – classic, modern and timeless”.
