Autumn-Winter 2013/14

On their 20th anniversary, Viktor and Rolf depicted the evolution of a man and his style, stirring subtle masculinity and modern aesthetics into garments that for all intended purposes prose a gentleman whose style is a quiet statement of sophistication and eccentricity.

Tailored glam looks, which came in ultra slim suiting, were speckled with graphite toning and shimmering plum. This plum colour also made its way onto ribbed bomber jackets that were boxy and placed over suits and under outer coats – just adding that extra winter layer.

Not that you would need an extra layer with the inclusion of thick woven parkas and cable knit jumpers, all adhering to the colour pallet that Viktor and Rolf chose for a muted winter collection.

In their 20 years, Viktor and Rolf have acquired the taste of presenting the modern gentlemen in a way that is not pretentious or use smoke and mirrors to mask the synthetic nature of upper class inspiration. Like their gent, they are too good for that.
