Spring-Summer 2011 – Was at it again, a world full of colour which has become the staple feature of many of her collections. The clouds of fluffed up hair, alongside the cheerful happy go lucky soundtrack, opening with The Stranglers singing Golden Brown, created a care-free breeze. This was helped by her rainbow collection which saw yellow, cherry pinks, orange, mustered and tan colours gallivanting down the catwalk. Symptomatic of this collection was the oversized clothing in cartoon like proportions. Oversized blazers were teemed with exaggeratingly big tapered trousers, while big roomy tunics integrated shapeless, airy sleeves that finished above the wrist. Even tight fitting leggings were paired with oversized striped cardigans to give dramatic proportions. The corpulent look hinted at a sport chic with jersey skirts and t-shirts appearing down the runway. Not forgetting accessories, this heavy look was asserted further with chunky espadrille platforms and thick belts.
