Foreground

Foreground fabrics are fabrics where the most dramatic part of the design appears to be further forward than the rest of the pattern. There is usually a large contrast between the background and the foreground pattern in terms of design, pattern and scale. Sometimes these patterns are made of contrasting patterns in the foreground and the background as well. They are usually printed on after fabric production.
