Autumn-Winter 2012/13 — It was a far cry away (and a refreshing one at that) from the androgynous-come-goth in all black that had been so pertinent in Milan. Instead, we were offered quirky colours by way of blue, green, pink, purple and yellow — all mixed up together, of course (this is DSqaured after all.) Red shawls were worn over green cropped jackets, and white skirts worn with red jumpers. It was like an American popularity contest with the girls fighting to be the brightest bushy tied young things. Thick leopard print jackets, hats and luxurious leather gloves contended with green crocodile jackets, pencil skirts and sweatshirts. The girls accessoried their look with a cheeky cigarette, small handbags, a hat, or voluptuous hair. The clothes became more flamboyant with bigger and better clothing until the finale black cocktail dresses; endlessly elegant black numbers purported the dynamic designs of the duo.
