Spring-Summer 2015 – At a first glance the S/S15 collection by Balenciaga could seem simple and minimal. Actually each garment is the product of an extreme attention to details and proportions, reached by an elegant combination of architectural shapes, soft silhouettes and stunning chiffons. The influence of Alexander Wang’s artistic direction on the maison is clearly visible, and it works perfectly.

Almost all the pieces of the collection are monochrome, using tones of white, black, cream, old rose and lilac.

Highlights of this S/S15 by Balenciaga are: very long coats, reticulated fabrics, tailored shoulder lines, precious chiffons and embroidered details.

The accessories seen on the catwalk add a sense of futuristic elegance: the big and fancy sunglasses.
