Ann Demeulemeester

Spring-Summer 2015 – The S/S15 by Ann Demeulemeester is defined by a large presence of cold and placid colours, using different tones of just three main colours: white, black, grey. A wise use of white creates an astonishing effect of light, empowering the lightness of the clothes. The colour palette has been cut down, keeping only the very essential tones that allowed the designer to play more with shapes and fabrics.

All the clothes are soft and large, overlapping each other in such a way that the main focus is on the movement of the garments when they fall on the body.

The minimal attitude of the collection is balanced by the tailored details of the jackets and gilets, that are almost alluding to a sophisticated androgyny.
