Spring-Summer 2013 – This season Gianfranco Ferré presented a slick, toned down collection which was incredibly minimalist and with this, very wearable and highly commercial. A monochrome colour palette with accents of gold, alongside sharp waist belts tied in a knot as apposed to buckled, were indicative to the modern tone. Reworked tuxedos were sleeveless and very sharp, with straight lines that were also seen on paper-like white dresses. Black jackets were slightly scaled and this continued into a full scaled attack of snakeskin: snakeskin shorts, blouses, shoes and entire dresses. Though it was paired down, it was sexy with high hems and plunging necklines. Though minimalist, picturesque filigree leaf decorations circling the waist working wonderfully on black chiffon dresses and one-sleeved jumpsuits. It was a modern touch on classic shapes and to end, a flurry of short jewel-tones dresses with a square cut for that spot of ingenuity,
