Prada

Autumn-Winter 2014/15 – Miuccia Prada’s main theme this season is the illusion of shapes, enthused by layers and an array of colours.

Echoing an epitome of earthy shades in a preppy yet chic style suitable for an autumnal range. The added edge of metallic greys and ocean blues contribute comfortably to the daring reds and mustard yellow.

Despite there being no particular pattern to follow, the contrast in shirt collars and the division of shapes give the collection more depth; this is also enhanced by the small detail of scarves.

The most captivating piece was the return of the body warmer, at first glance you think “Life jacket” or maybe even “straight jacket,” but the idea of layering a longer garment underneath consumes the whole outfit into one masculine shape.

All in all, there is nothing sweet about this Prada Candy at all.
