Maison Martin Margiela

Autumn-Winter 2014/15 – The magic of Martin Margiela appeared with a romantic yet neo-classical edge.

The formal gentleman and the vintage man become one to make this range as sophisticated as possible. The line replicates the artistic side of previous decades; double-breasted shirts and tonal waistcoats describe the perfect element of work wear.

The elegance and pure expense of the materials used defines the suaveness of the models and the audience in which the line is designed for. Although the beginning of the line wows in work wear, the second half approaches more of a casual range, the trousers become looser and the jackets more structured. High shine military boots seem to be the main attraction of footwear also, this keeps the outfit regimented yet calm.
