Autumn-Winter 2012/13 – Giorgio Armani put comfort in his style with loose fitting trousers in every look. Whether in draping silk or tucked into boots, teamed with leather or wool, they never failed to look chic. His suits went from casual in grey jersey, to smart in black satin and velvet and everything had a sensory appeal. The bright blue jackets after shades of only grey and black were like a breath of fresh air. His oversized faux fur coat and drapery of the fabrics were soft to the eye and enhanced the feeling of comfort. Moving away from the clean hard silhouettes of Giorgio’s norm, the emphasis never moved off luxury.
