Haider Ackermann

Haider Ackermann Man Autumn-Winter 2016-17 – A show where the audience can finally see the clothes clearly is a transformative improvement on the old presentation as the Colombian born designer Haider Ackermann brought a punk attitude at Paris fashion week presenting gaunt models with dropping gelled Mohican hairstyles.

The collection inspired by rock and roll with a modern twist featured bold prints and colours, which brought boldness to the catwalk highlighting models in bare skin and long velvet jackets with shiny black and grey leather pants.

Khaki, black, blue, yellow and grey were the only colours explored within the collection in forms of bomber jackets and sweater looking pants.

The jackets within the collection include excessive details on the collars and the bomber jackets showcased rock and roll elegance. Haider Ackermann explores minimalism without being dull as he showcases a sleek, yet relaxed and cool collection with a rich use of fabric.

The fall/winter collection explores patterns such as: crackle effects and snakeskin with the leather and velvet pants accessorised with slim fringed waist belts, thin ties around the neck which made the models look damn sexy all together.
