Fashion films of the week: i-D, Chanel, Lanvin

i-D & Lily McMenamy

Directed by hip Parisian design agency Ill Studio, model (and daughter of the famous Kristen) Lily McMenamy shows off her yoga skills (as well as a tongue-in-cheek sense of humor) in this short film. There are plenty of stunning clothes from Céline, Miu Miu and the like, too.

Chanel

This short film from the French luxury brand shows off the delicate skills that go into the Chanel MADEMOISELLE PRIVÉ watch collection. The film focuses on the handcrafted camellia (Gabrielle ‘Coco’ Chanel’s favorite flower), made from inlaid mother-of-pearl, as it is cut and laid on the watch face.

Lanvin

This behind-the-scenes video was shot on the set for the latest Lanvin Resort 2014 campaign. The film lavishes attention on the highly covetable new accessories and dresses, as well as the fun sporty leather sneakers worn by Australian model Julia Nobis.
