Coach combines luxury and utility at first London show

Posted on

Earlier, Coach creative director Stuart Vevers had hinted he would reveal a new collection combining tradition and modernity. And he certainly lived up to the promise.

Casual and highly functional, the menswear collection nonetheless bears the hallmark of luxury craftsmanship, as seen in the multiple shearling coats and in bags and pants made with particularly thick leather.

Looks with fairly traditional tailoring were updated with almost playful accents, from military-inspired prints to furry details adorning sneakers.

The color palette remained within the usual codes of the season, with plenty of army greens, browns and black, accented by occasional touches of grey and rust.
