Bella Freud for Barbour

Bella Freud has worked with Barbour on a new collection of Fall-Winter knit sweaters and luxurious hoodies.

Freud used the countryside brand’s sporting and farming heritage as a jumping-off point for the collection. Falcon, rabbit and lamb motifs which appear on the jumpers were all inspired by Freud’s own memories of growing up in the Ashdown Forest in East Sussex.

Freud also tweeted an image of two biscuit versions of the sweaters served at the collection launch.

The daughter of famed portrait painter Lucian Freud, the designer is also the great-granddaughter of the founding father of psychoanalysis, Sigmund Freud. Based in London, her slogan-sweater designs have been spotted on celebrity fans including Alexa Chung, and Freud has previously teamed up with French shoe label Christian Louboutin

Prices range from $136 to $196 for the collection which will hit select Barbour stores around the world in mid-August.
