Pulled

A pulled look often means to wear clothing which has the appearance of being distressed or to have pulled away from the fabric. The garments may look worn already, giving a “vintage” feel.

This look was donned in the 1970s with punks but was revived for the modern era to be most commonly seen in ripped jeans or purposely holed tights or leggings but recently the pulled look can be seen for tops of that display tassels at the bottom edge.

Pulled garments may be layered with other garments too and such was seen on 2012 catwalks with Giles A/W showing pulled knit wear obscuring an elegant ruffled gown. Ralph Lauren on the other hand showed femininity with a light weight cardigan ripped and pulled at the shoulders adding a sense of rebellion to a fresh summer look.
