Primitive Art

Primitive art is a form of non-western, often tribal art from parts of the world such as Africa. It is often ceremonial or religious in nature and used earthy natural colours. The designs and motifs used are simplistic and a lot of contrast is used, generally between colour and black. This pattern is repeated and printed onto fabrics after they have been manufactured.
