Moiré

Moiré pattern is a pattern which is made of ripples and wavy lines. It is made to resemble moiré fabric, but this pattern is printed on rather than being a part of the fabrics construction. Moiré patterns are generally a supposition of two different simpler patterns to give the appearance of one more complex one. Contrasting colours and line thicknesses are often used.
