Millefleurs

Millefleurs pattern is a pattern which is covered in realistically drawn flowers. These flowers are often depicted from nature and are coloured in various colours. The word ‘Millefleurs’ is French and literally means ‘A thousand flowers.’ This pattern was originally used in tapestries and other weavings, but nowadays Millefleurs pattern is printed onto a fabric after the manufacture process. The flowers are generally close together with no recognisable background.
